Lucille Bald, aka Lucy, is a Chinese Crested hairless.
She has "human like hair"/Donald Trump-like coiff on her
head, tail and feet and the rest feels like your grandmother's skin.
Where did you get Lucille Bald?
Lucille was adopted from Petfinder.com,
an amazing pet adoption website that is a national database for
animal shelters, rescue groups and humane societies across the United
States.
How old is Lucille Bald?
Our vet has estimated about 10 years old, give or take a few years.
From where was she rescued?
She was rescued by police during a raid on a puppy mill
that was using dogs for mass breeding. She has a crude tattoo on
her inner thigh marking her as "#258." She lived for many
years in deplorable conditions before her rescue. Find out why you

What does Lucille Bald feel like
and does she get cold easily?
Lucy's skin is very soft and requires special care. She wears sunscreen
when outside and sweaters in the winter. When bathing her, she feels
like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Why did you decide to do the Animal
Planet show for the World's Ugliest Dog contest?
I felt that it would be a great opporutnity to speak publicly about
Lucille Bald's remarkable rescue story and the importance of pet
adoption, especially for the hard to adopt dogs (the elderly and
the "not so cute".) Animal Planet was very open to letting
us talk about the great folks at Petfinder.com
and all the hard work the animal rescue groups are doing! Plus it
was a blast!! Meeting all the other "ugly dog" owners
and their special pups was so fun. We all had a great time.
Is it true that she made a love connection
during the World's Ugliest Dog contest?
Yes, she and fellow contestant Pee Wee Martini from Philadelphia
made a love connection. But no worries, there will be no "world's
ugliest offspring".... they both are fixed.
What are Lucille Bald's favorite
doggy shows?
Lucille loves to watch TV. Her favorite shows are the dog shows
on Animal
Planet. She also loves "Lou" the Chihuaha,
on E! Television's, The Soup. Lucille Bald is also a big fan of
Bridget Marquardt's dog, Wednesday, on E!'s, The Girls
Next Door show.
Do you really think Lucille Bald
is ugly?
She is definitely a face only a mother could love! She can be particularly
ugly on days when she's really having a bad hair day in which she
resembles Keith Richards or Judy Garland (back in her drug phase.)
What does Lucille Bald think of all
of the media attention?
She could care less and is pretty oblivious. She is just happy living
her new life spreading ugly dog love.
What's next for Lucille Bald?
Currently she has retired from Ugly Dog contests. She wants to be
like Michael Jordan and go out on top. However, she is open to suggestions...
